I often think it would be easier to get an appointment with the Pope himself......... then when you finally do get an appointment and turn up you wait at least an hour. Interesting how when you use the automated check in it states there is 0 minutes delay but you sit there for at least an hour (last time it was an hour and 20 minutes). I will be moving surgerys and would never recommend this one, infact I tell everyone to steer well clear!

This site tells me to write here what I like or what is good about this practice......the only thing I can say about it that is positive is that it is clean. Other than that it is the worst practice I've ever had the displeasure to associate with. I moved to the area 1 year ago and there's been a problem every single time I have visited the practice. Problems range from extremely incompetent receptionists who a lot of the time don't answer the phone when you call for an appointment, and on the rare occasions they do answer, they are extremely rude and they are the same when you visit the practice in person. To be honest, I don't know how they are allowed to get away with it when I notice that I'm not the only one to have these issues. Another example of this practice being extremely poor, I phoned them on Monday and after eventually getting through to them they told me the next available appointmenr wasn't for another 10 days time! And this has happened every single time I've tried to make an appointment. I have even arrived for a pre agreed appointment and the receptionist has told me its not been booked in so they clearly didn't bother or forgot to input into the computer. I am actually changing practices as we speak. To sum up, and I don't mean to sound rude, this practice is a disgrace and should either be given a massive shake up of staff of be closed completely.

I can always get an appointments either with a doctor in person or a telephone appointment with a doctor. My care has always been very good.

I was told by a Receptionist that making an appointment to see a doctor was too complicated to write down. Since I have been at this practice there have been a number of changes to surgery time and appointment methods, but as a patient I am never advised. I could easily get an appointment until I started work then It was impossible to fit in. Recently I was refused one repeat prescription because I already had some, I later asked for a repeat on a different medication and was prescribed both, but was only given the prescription for the one I had plenty of. The other prescription was still in the box, so I had to make another trip to the surgery to collect it. Apparently because it had not been clipped to to the one I never asked for anyway?? Confused- so was I.
